In India loads of solid wastes are generated every year our drive focuses on keeping in check on waste related issues among both rural and urban communities. We join hands with the rag pickers in collecting wastes from different sources, houses, markets, hotels etc., and then we dispose the collected waste, we insist house holds to maintain a bag from this we also create awareness ensuring public participation in segregation of recyclable material and storage of waste at source. When it comes to the concept of kitchen garden programmes our key focus is to plant easy growing plants in backyard or another place in the house. We also give an idea on the benefits of having a kitchen garden such as fights off food insecurity, protects health increased nutrients.
